Home Dialyzors United is excited to be hosting our first webinar on May 24th at 8:00pm EDT. NxStage Medical will be providing a view into their Connected Health solution. Joe Turk, President – North America and John Tremblay, Director – Product Management will provide an overview and demo of this new platform currently under development. Connected Health represents an important new step for home therapy innovation by embracing new mobile technologies to provide connectivity between patients and their dialysis center. This solution includes an iPad application for patients and care-partners to wirelessly access real-time treatment information from the System One Cycler and automate the creation and delivery of flowsheets to centers.
This solution is currently under development at NxStage and is not commercially available. This webinar represents an opportunity for HDU members to obtain an early preview of the NxStage Connected Health solution. You must however refrain from contacting your center about this capability since they may have limited information on this solution and may not be in a position to discuss until the solution becomes commercially available in the next 8 – 12 months. HDU will provide updates to its members as more information becomes available.
